i-Net+ Module 5 - TCP/IP Utilities
Course Aims
On completion of this module, readers will be able to: understand how the ARP protocol can be managed and understand what other utilities can be used to troubleshoot or fine-tune an IP-based network. |
Assumed Knowledge
Readers should meet the following criteria prior to attending the course:
experience of desktop software PC support, perhaps gained through "A+ Certification: Operating System Support Skills" or similar training, some basic experience of supporting web clients (browser, FTP, etc.) would be an advantage and some working technical knowledge of LAN and WAN networking hardware and software (preferably using Windows 98 or later). |
Course Audience
This course has been developed for readers with the responsibility for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Internet and Intranet systems. On course completion, readers will be capable of taking and passing the i-Net+ Certification exam (code IK0-002, launched April 2002). |
